Catwalk Exotique is a subsidiary of the Dionis Australia Pty Ltd Group which has been Australian Owned and operated since 2002. The concept of adopting the word Exotique and taking it to unparalleled heights in the handbag industry commenced in 2008 when one of the Directors of the company decided to purchase a handbag as a gift for a valued female company client who has everything and had a weakness and passion for handbags. In an attempt to fulfill such high expectations, the company director took a simple “Bottom to the top” approach, contacting and talking to the best relevant people with a similar passion. It was this first step that identified the shared passion and put the first “common thread on our Tapestry”. The initial result of this collective synergy produced an exquisite handbag that our company director was proud to present to the valued client. Such was the impact of this whole experience that the company director decided to take this collective synergy and channel it into achieving the same result for the benefit of discerning clients who value beauty, individuality and above all share our common passion of love for handbags.
So the journey commenced in 2008 and finally in 2010 the first collection of this labour of Love was borne with the completion of the first range of “Catwalk Exotique” Handbags that will be officially physically unveiled at the 2010 Fashion Exposed Exhibition Melbourne between the 29th of August to the 31st of August 2010 at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
